...is exactly what it's always been. By speaking to him, showing that you treat him as a man, not an enemy. And caring about him as a person, not a gender or on oppressor.

The best way I’ve heard submission described was at M/s conference in 08. Submission is not following your Master.  We have a word --- Pretendian.   (Okay, mostly we just roll our eyes, and the words we use aren't in your language, or when they are -- they're in southern accents, or First Nations accents, and they're pretty rude, vulgar, irritated, and tired.)
